Holly & Ivy Christmas Wedding
Well, I suppose I've kept you all waiting long enough! I do seem to let my blog fall by the wayside during busy times of the year. I hope you've all had a wonderful holiday as I have. Mine has been filled with shopping, traveling, snow, and of course, a relaxing time with family! But before I continue on with my fairy-tale wedding theme, I wanted to add in some seasonal inspiration. This one is a fun twist on a Christmas wedding, leaning towards a traditional English holiday with elements like hot wassail, tartan fabric, a three-tiered bundt wedding cake, snow-covered village, and of course, lots of holly and ivy!

New Project!
So, as promised, I'm excited to share my new project with you! I've been working on a series of wedding inspiration boards that translate classic Disney fairy-tales into real-life possibilities. The first of which is a seaside wedding inspired by "The Little Mermaid".
I wanted this wedding to feel nautical while still romantic - pearls, shells, soft blue, and sea green set the scene, while little touches of the merworld surface in a turquoise halter bridesmaid dress, and form-fitting mermaid wedding gown that flows into a ruffly train. A rocky coast or a sun-washed beach would be ideal for this fairy-tale wedding, but the right touches in any venue would bring this story to life!

Keep checking back, I have lots more!

Pink Christmas
Remember how I love a pink twist on just about any holiday? I think this soft and romantic hue works especially well for Christmas. Against a stark white or silver backdrop, it can be strikingly elegant and sophisticated. (Not to mention girly!)
Sources: gifts via Country Living, topiary cupcakes via Bakerella, poinsettia tree via Southern Living, sparkly Christmas village via Twig & Thistle, silver tree and pink mantle via BHG, sweets table via Kate Landers Events, snowflake buffet table and pink Christmas tree via Martha Stewart, pink feather wreath via The Lennox
And speaking of a Pink Christmas, you must see just a glimpse of this to-die-for Nutcracker Suite Ballet Party by Kate Landers Events! Much of the design of this party, including the ruffled, layered-pink tablecloth, was inspired by the sumptuous costumes from the classic production of the Nutcracker.

Glitter and Snow Table
I'm back! I think someone here has taken this Thanksgiving holiday a little too far! *Points finger at self* I admit, I have neglected this blog somewhat of late with being out of town, busy to no end with other responsibilities, you've all been there. But now we're into December - the biggest party time of the year! I wanted to welcome in this wonderful month with this gorgeous Glitter and Snow Table from Bird of Bird's Party Blog, which features lots of printable partyware and supplies. Because of its simple and elegant color scheme, this party could very easily be adapted for any celebration during the holidays, especially a New Year's Eve Party.
She has even created a new and adorably festive Christmas Candyland Party Collection. You must check it out! P.S. I've been a little naught, not nice, about posting inspiration boards (which were the start of this blog anyway). I've got a few in the works coming to you soon.
